The first safe and fast option to download the Android App is the Google Play Store! But for some specific reason, the major Chinese smartphone maker companies are looking to create a replacement for the Google Play Store together! Huawei, Xiaomi, Apo, and Vivo want to create their own Play Store as an app store where developers can upload their apps.
The new platform will be named “Global Developer Service Alliance” (GDSA). We know how large a number of Chinese smartphone maker companies are occupying the market. It is quite difficult for companies to set up their own App Store even after the phone is created in the hands of billions of users because it is not possible to create such an environment overnight like the Play Store. Chinese app stores do not get popularity due to the lack of any third-party app support.
But now that all the big companies have come together and are building their own alliance, it will be possible to create a Play Store replacement. It’s a big step for Chinese companies to become independent of the Google Play Store and Services!
However, it is clear that Huawei will find more benefits than everyone else. Because they are already having problems with Google licensing, they are also working on their own operating system. Now if they do not have to depend on the Play Store to create a full functional App Store, then the profit motive will be more on Huawei’s foot!
